Founder

Fred Shulman graduated from the University of Maryland in 1978, with a degree in Computer Science. Just a year later, Fred co-founded COMSYS one of the first and premier IT Staffing and Consulting firms in the U.S. During his tenure as President and CEO of COMSYS, Fred was a finalist for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award. COMSYS was a three-time winner of the INC 500 Fastest Growing Company award.

In 1986, Fred co-founded the National Association of Computer Consulting Businesses (NACCB) and was a member of its Executive Committee for over a decade. In 1997,after a brief hiatus from the industry and after the sale of COMSYS in 1994. In 1997, Fred co-founded AETEA Information Technology Inc, a national IT staffing and solutions firm providing IT services to commercial clients as well as state and local governments. AETEA was sold in late 2003.

In 2004, Fred co-founded Trilogy as his third I.T. staffing and consulting company. Fred was invited to record his oral history of the industry at the Computer History Museum in Palo Alto California due to his numerous contributions to the Software Professional Services Industry.

Fred has decided to reinvent COMSYS using his vast experience in business and technology to help other businesses and individuals with technology issues using his 40 years of experience.  No problem is too small. Fred has been supporting individuals, small business along with Federal, state and local governments, personally for over 40 years.
